Anonymous asked: Hi I'm trying not to be too specific but I wanted to know if a fic like this existed! Is there a story about spideupool going to like a carnival and there are circus freaks and deadpool loves it cause he knows what it's like to be an outcast and to look different? Or anything along those lines?

spideypoolfanfics:

Oh, that’s so beautiful! There are some fics where Peter and Wade go together to a carnival/amusement park, but nothing like that happens. It’s a gorgeous idea, maybe someone will feel like writing it!

When he was a child peter Parker’s mother made him learn to play piano. He was a natural and often tapped his fingers on his leg in piano movements. When he moved in with May and Ben the lessons stopped but even now whenever he is stressed peter plays an imaginary piano.

I find it mighty funny how Valeria Richards has a much better relationship with Victor on Doom than she does with her father, Reed Richards.  For all intents and purposes, Doom IS Val’s dad. Think about that. Valeria is also, quite possibly, the single smartest person in the entire Marvel universe. Now, for years, Doom has been trying to take over the world, not for some petty vendetta, but because he understands the way to unified glory, is through unification under one banner.imageMost people will vilify that reasoning, say it’s the most egotistically and destructive way of life imaginable, but look at Latveria. It went from a bombed out and depleted tactical wasteland into a world power after Doom’s exile. He rules his people justly and fairly, never demanding more than they can offer. He created a modern utopia out of a country that was not only ravaged into a carcass by outside forces but also cannibalized by opportunist citizens. Doom essentially culled the disease out of an entire country and grew it into a healthy beast with a thriving economy.  People have their freedoms, they can protest, they can march but they choose not too because Doom is good to them. They have holidays in celebration of their ruler. Doom is probably the most selfless and attentive monarch in Marvel’s history. True story.imageValeria’s relationship with her dad is rocky at best. Reed is afraid of Valeria’s potential. I think canonically, she’s, like, 3 or 4, but has already exceeded her father’s intelligence by a great deal. Reed, being a man of science and pride (let’s be honest, Reed Richards is the avatar of pride. This is a guy who puts science ahead of his family for literally personal understanding. He doesn’t really use this for the betterment of the world or the human experience. he keeps it to himself as a shrine to his brilliance. his vanity alienates his friends, his family, and is the cause of the rift he has with Val not because he IS vain but because he pretends NOT to be.) it both chides his personal world and bolsters his hubris as this is HIS daughter that has exceeded him in HIS chosen craft. Val seems to be the only person in Reed’s immediate circle to understand that about her dad and she finds his dishonesty to be repugnant. Just as Doom does.imageNot very many people can see Reed for who he is, and this is the continuing source of the rocky relationships he has with Doom, the only peer he has that can match him intellectually, and his daughter, the only person who can EXCEED him intellectually. Valeria’s relationship with Doom is one of true understanding. She sees Reed for who he is; a glory hogging narcissist who has no intention of using his vast intellect and resources to help anyone but HIS ego or designs. Exactly the gospel Victor Von Doom has been preaching since they were undergraduates at college together.imageWhat does this mean? It means that literally, the VAST majority of the earthlings in the MCU are too stupid to understand that Reed Richards is a false Shepard. Dr. Doom, for all of his vanity and ill fated would-be-world-conqueror attempts, is honest in his endeavors. He believes, in his heart, that salvation lies under his rule and Reed Richards is a blight on humanity. And he is right.   Reed has said as much multiple times. Hell, Evil Reeds from alternate worlds have proven to be overwhelmingly sadistic and destructive. Alternate Dooms, for the most part, are basically the same person; Vain and self serving, but righteous in their hubris.  Reed and Victor are literally two sides of the same coin but everyone is enamored with the wrong side. Except for Valeria.imageIn Doom, Valeria sees everything that her father should be; A prideful man of science who uses his ability to enrich the lives of everyone he comes into contact with. This is a man that is not evil, just smarter than everyone else. and that intellect, when not focused on just himself, gives Victor a broad sense of the world. He can calculate the future, as can Val. She sees the same thing he does, only further and Victor not only recognizes this but encourages it. He nurtures Valeria in a way that Reed, and his rampant vanity, simply cannot. Victor listens to Val. He engages her on a level of intellect that no one else does or can. Valeria is an equal that Doom had thought long since lost to PR and media hype. Valeria, in turn, has someone she can intellectually spar with who won’t write her off as a child or immature or worth less than the pursuit of the the Answer.imageValeria and Doom have an enriching relationship, one of legitimate care and understand, based on the fact they both see, and are literally the only two people SMART enough to see, Reed Richards for the monster he truly is. His public face, that of Mr. Fantastic, is a polished image that has been focus grouped and corporate sponsored. The real Reed, the Reed that only Valeria and Victor can see, is a sad, vain, man with only his ambitions at heart. This is the Reed that Doom hates. This is the Reed that Valeria cannot identify with. This is the man that will lead the world to ruin, according to the only two people who are smart enough to see the big picture.imageOr maybe Val and Vic are just two brilliant sociopaths reveling in their respective geniuses together. Whatever the reason, the “tyrant dictator” Dr. Victor Von Doom has been more of a father to Valeria Richards than Reed Richards can ever hope to be. I imagine this is  blow to his inflated ego every time he sees them together.image

That was on hell of a write up. My familiarity with FF isn’t the best but I do like the little I’ve read of Val and Doom.
